Northland's Dogue de Bordeaux rank among the highest in the Penn-Hip rankings, yet excellent type has been maintained.

Shown below are the males we are currently using in our breeding program.  We ship fresh, chilled semen overnight.  Females must first meet our requirements for temperament, health, type and structure.  We then discuss which male would best compliment your female in terms of characteristics and bloodline.  The stud fee is $2,000.  In rare cases, we will do a breeding in exchange for pick of the litter puppy.

Northland’s Dumais has had an exceptional and impressive show career both in the States and Abroad.  His massive head, heavily muscled body and fiery temperament tend to impress in the ring.  Despite his sizeable frame (25.5 inches at the shoulder and 155 pounds), Dumais is a tremendous athlete as evidences by the photo’s in his gallery.

Vauban came to us from the L’etang De Mirloup Kennel of France.  He is a son of World Champion Temple Felson. 

His athletic ability and drive rival any Bordeaux that we have seen.  Vauban likes his toys, and is tireless when it comes to retrieving or playing tug-of-war.  In fact he is so persistent and resolute that you have to watch your fingers while at play.   Vauban offers great color, head type, athleticism and drive, and his hips are rated A/A.  Vauban is a smaller male at 24” and 125 pounds, but he is very solid and well proportioned.  He tends to produce greater size than himself, but his ideal mate is a larger female in which you desire to improve on those positive characteristics Vauban possesses.  Click on Vauban’s Picture Gallery to view him in action.

Volkoff de l'étang de Mirloup is currently visiting us from France and available at stud to approved females.  Volkoff is on loan from Claude and Roselyne Aubaux, owners of one of the premier kennels in France; L’etang de Mirloup.  Claude and Roselyne have been breeders of the Dogue de Bordeaux for over 30 years and share our passion for strengthening the health characteristics of the Dogue de Bordeaux while maintaining a  stable temperament and exceptional type.  Mirloup has been testing the hips of their dogues for generations. 

Volkoff is a son of renowned International Champion Brandouxs Toezzz.  His pedigree also includes other European and World Champions such as  Orloff de l”etang de Mirloup,  Jumbo Jet De L'Etang De Mirloup, Bam Bam Un De Mes Amis, and Rano De L' Aube Rouge.   Volkoff has exceptional bone, excellent color, A rated Hips, and very nice head type.
